Frog's Leap
What happens when you build a winery on an old frog farm and your very first vintage came from grapes ‘borrowed’ from Stags LEAP? You get a winery called Frogs Leap. You must take the tour, but you will have to call ahead to get a personal tour of this organic winery. I enjoy their Sauvignon Blanc, Petite Sirah, and Pink (La Grenouille Rouganté), which has a very nice strawberry taste and one of my favorite summertime wines. Aromas of watermelon, rhubarb, and hints of white flowers fill the glass while summer fruit flavors of strawberry, sour cherry, and watermelon quench one's thirst. Lifted by bright, natural acid and low alcohol the wine is lively, crisp, and refreshing, the perfect companion to a warm, sunny day.

Grgich Hills Estate
Miljenko “Mike” Grgich first gained international recognition at the celebrated “Paris Tasting” of 1976. One word here, Chardonnay. Classic, Californian Chardonnay. You have to try this is you think Chardonnay is boring…. Mike knows what he is doing and do not be afraid of drinking Chardonnay, you are not too good for it!
